One Man's Journey - November 1 to 22, 2008 - Solo Show

Jerry and Webster Galleries are holding an art show involving art education and the participation of high school students from the Calgary area. Jerry has taught many classes and workshops to adults and believes education is a very important aspect of art. Now he would like to share his knowledge and inspire the upcoming generation to become involved in the arts. Eight grade 11 and 12 students were invited to join Jerry for a day of outdoor painting and instruction in June. Their paintings will be on display at the exhibition in November, along with new indoor and outdoor works by Jerry. In addition to education, the exhibition will show Jerry's painting process, of painting studies from life then using those studies to produce larger works. There will be studies with the large pieces on display as well as images of Jerry painting outdoors.
