Enjoy the beautiful
Okanagan in May!

The Okanagan valley of British Columbia, Canada offers a diverse landscape to paint including rural farm scenes, picturesque lakes, vineyards and orchards. In this 4-day workshop enjoy comraderie with other painters, wine, warm weather, and all that spring in the Okanagan has to offer.

 


Includes:

  • 4 days of outdoor painting including group & personal instruction, valuable exercises, and demonstrations.
  • Painting at a local winery (wine tour optional)
  • BBQ dinner at Leah & Jerry's home one evening (will have a later start to painting that day with a session before the BBQ and then an evening paint).
  • Group lunch one day inbetween painting sessions.
  • Refreshments and light snacks throughout each day.

 

* Accommodations, other meals, and transportation to painting locations is the responsibility of each participant.

Cost: $490 + tax (in Canada)

To add your name to the waiting list call Leah at 250-558-0350 or send an email. A nonrefundable deposit of 50% is required upon registration with the remaining amount to be paid by May 1, 2014. Workshop fees are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot.

Where to Stay?

As all of the painting locations will be in various locations throughout the Okanagan valley we recommend staying in Kelowna or Vernon. Both are friendly cities adjacent to a lake with all amenities and major stores.

- An artist from of ours runs a beautiful Bed & Breakfast adjacent to their pear orchard. A beautiful quiet location in Kelowna with a pool and hot tub, plus her husband likes to entertain with music on the patio in the evenings. - For breakfast or lunch take-away it is a larger city so there are many places to stop downtown or along the main highway.

Breakfast:

Most coffee shops offer something quick for breakfast or there is also a Denny's, The Pantry, 27th Street Grill, Bean There Bistro, Branches Cafe, White Spot, etc.
