Comments From Workshop Participants

Jerry is truly gifted both as an artist and teacher. His approach to the subjects he paints, and the knowledge he shares with his students, make his workshops a delight. To be so enthusiastic, yet patient enough to teach others, is a rare combination. Thank-you for the opportunity to participate at the Beaverfoot Lodge Workshop.

I really enjoyed the 5-day workshop at Beaverfoot Lodge in September 2009. I learned so much about the value of plein air painting. Jerry shared his wealth of knowledge with the group regarding painting the landscape. I really appreciated the individual instruction.  The scenery was majestic and Beaverfoot Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. What a great week it was!!

Jerry's 5-day plein air workshop was amazing. I really like his personality, big smile, great sense of humour, but best of all his teaching ability. He has such a nice way of guiding you through pointers to change ugly paintings to something that makes you want to continue.

The entire week of the outdoor painting workshop in Golden was terrific. Jerry's enthusiasm was infectious! And he did a great job encouraging everyone and dashing from easel to easel with timely tips and corrections.

Jerry,

I wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend workshop - all of your words of wisdom are still fresh in my thoughts and I am seeing "value" everywhere!!!

Perhaps our paths may cross again in the future, if not, please know that you have opened my eyes to a true appreciation of work in oils.....thank you.

Warm regards,

Jerry,

I really enjoyed myself at your 3-day intensive workshop in BC. It was fun, had a relaxed learning atmosphere, just the right amount of structure, so much information, lots of practice, EXCELLENT instruction, and with having a small group I got more than my money's worth.

Thank you,
